Musician David Perolman is the Education Director/Songleader at Temple Habonim in Barrington, Rhode Island. He leads co-leads worship services, while striving to make Judaism accessible to all people across faith traditions. His focus has led to an interest in reframing the original intent of secular music to find the Jewish values within those songs. David has been singing and playing guitar since his high school days in Baltimore, MD, and was very active in the music scene in both NFTY-MAR (North American Federation of Temple Youth - Mid Atlantic Region) as well as the (Union for Reform Judaism) URJ Camp Harlam. He also writes and records secular music across several genres including folk, pop, country, and rock. David's enthusiasm for the positivity that life offers us daily is infectious. He hopes to bring peace through community, bringing people together one song at a time. David currently lives in Barrington, Rhode Island with his daughters Ariel (4) and Sydney (2), and his wife Danielle.
